I have a love-hate relationship with my pendulum. Actually, it's more on the side of 'hate'. So my only consistent and 99% trusted tool is tarot. But I'd love to improve the accuracy of my pendulum readings and use the little tool more. I'll take any advice/ideas on how to verify accuracy/what questions to ask for practice (beyond the "what color is my hair, because since I know, I might affect outcome), and such Also, anything about pendulums, really~

Is the stone/crystal one you connect with? I use a plain metal pendulum and I am comfortable with it in general, and I definitely have it set up well, as in - it responds properly to my requests to show yes/no etc

Maybe try a pendulum that is a stone/crystal you really like or are connected to. Also amethyst is great for divination you can try a amethyst pendulum. You can also mediate with your pendulum to connect with it better and cleanse it as often as you need to. Hope this helps

Moonstone is also a good one for divining.
Our own bias can cause us to inadvertently affect the reading, so one trick is to preface the with "regardless how I may wish for it to be..."
I also did an enchantment on mine to make it more resistant to my biases. I posted it on my Tumblr blog but if you can't find it I'll gladly post it here as well.
