hi everyone!
i'm so stoked to be here... hopefully i don't ramble too much out of excitement.
my name is maria, and i am a 21 year old queer, nonbinary witch from new jersey! i wanted to reach out here because i have no witchy friends, and i'm hoping i can find some!
i've been practicing witchcraft for about eight years. my interests have changed over time, and currently i find myself doing mostly spirit work and divination (primarily through tarot).
i have two lovely spirit companions, who i may mention on here once in a while, so long as they're okay with it!
the tarot decks i own are: the rider-waite smith deck, the golden thread tarot, and the dalí universal tarot deck, which i recommend everybody buy because it is too stunning for words.
in my mundane life, i enjoy ethically collecting animal skulls, reading (currently on the count of monte cristo by dumas; my favorite author is haruki murakami), going for walks with my dog, exploring antique stores, painting, and listening to all types of music, my particular favorite genre being folk punk.
i am also a researcher at my university, studying biological archaeology and human osteology.
i'm sure there's something i'm leaving out, but i think this'll work for now! i'm so excited to meet all of you, and i'll be looking forward to making some witchy friends!
