Question for y'all.
My Wife is asthmatic, and Incense aggravates it terribly, so I can't use it indoors. Not a big problem now that Summer's almost here, but what can I use as an alternative when not outside?

I am a firm believer in sprays! My dogs hate incense smoke so using essential oils, witch hazel and distilled water I've made a bunch of sprays and air fresheners for various purposes. You might want to look into wax tarts as well. They give off really great scent but with none of the smokiness

Cool- thank you!
I use a spray for general cleansing anyway, so that's good. My honey likes wax tarts also, so I'm sure I can get away with that.

I love essential oils and simmers. A great way to cleanse the entire house is to boil a pot of water on the stove and adding fresh herbs and citrus peels to let the steam carry the scent around the room. The steam cleanses, warms the air, carries whatever intent you put into it (by choosing certain ingredients for certain intents). If you have an oil burner then that is great but you can again just boil water and add a few drops of oil. As someone with asthma I tend to stay clear of incense sticks altogether.

Thanks for that, playfullypagan! I'll definitely put that to use also!
