Hello, my name's Cy, but you can call me Blue, I don't mind which, I'm 19 and I live in Southern Texas; looking to break away from the harsh grip that is this state. I'll be going to college soon, hopefully, and then after my 2 years, I plan on doing whatever I can to leave Texas (people here can be a bit close-minded, it sucks when you don't feel like you fit in.) Anyway, I became interested in Witchcraft, Wicca, Paganism, etc. back when I was 15/16.
I suppressed my religious views on it, however, due to being in a very Christian environment, thus, returning to my agnostic values.
Now, after 2 years or so, I'm back and fired up. I would like to thank my Matron Goddess for helping me hang in there, I honestly don't know what I'd be if it weren't for her. I'm just a poor witch baby, but I strive to learn all I can! I can't say that I'm very talkative (despite this long intro), but it does take time for me to open up. I suppose it's because I feel a bit embarrassed on my lack of knowledge compared to others; Must be the Aries in me.
My main studies include (but not limited to):
❀Herbs ❀Deities ❀Protection Spells ❀Sigils ❀Kitchen Magic
Meanwhile, in non-practice and religious things, I love TV Series, my mains being Penny Dreadful, Doctor Who, Supernatural, and Once Upon a Time. I also adore music, such as Vocaloid, P!ATD, FOB, TOP, Starset, Lisa Thiel, Ludo- erm... to name a few.
So this intro is quite long, so I'll cut it short, if you'd like to know anything else, just ask!

Yes! Another Ludo fan! I'm glad you have found comfort in your craft and that you find all sorts of new interesting things to look into! If you need anything just pop on over and ask!

Yeah, I feel really feel at home when it comes to my craft, despite feeling a bit nervous about messing certain things up (Spells, Circle Casting, etc), but it's really all of the experience, so I enjoy it.
My biggest surprise so far though is that I never expected to meet a Ludo fan, haha. Usually, all the people I meet never actually know the band.

Hahaha, my party song is Girls on Trampolines. I love that song so much. As for creeper songs, Go-Getter Greg is a close second to my #1 Whipped Cream.

SPN! Also, it's totally OK if it's private, but do you mind my asking who your Matron is?

When I first got into Ludo, I listened to the darker songs of Ludo, but yes. Ludo is probably the one band that can get me into a good mood. Just because their lyrics can be either hilarious or cute, like Anything for You.
Shame the band doesn't make music anymore. I adore them.

meli, Nah, it's totally fine! My Matron is Brigid. I found her back when I first discovered Wicca. Went through some deities, saw a page about her, and I just broke into joyful tears. It was a very surreal experience, I was doing perfectly fine throughout the entire research until I got to her. If I'm honest, I still can't explain why I suddenly had a surge of emotions at the moment when I read about her.

YAY! I actually had a feeling it might have been Her. I'm not a devotee of Hers, per se, but I do frequently honor Her both for my heritage (I'm half-Irish) and for my niece, who is named Brighid. She's so amazing, both in the mythos and in interactions!

Yes, and if I'm honest, I've very little experience with actually working with her during rituals, well, I've had little experiences with rituals at all due to family reasons, but even though this, I feel an exceptional closeness to her. However, recently, Artemis had come to mind while I was just casually listening to music; this was not too long after I had concentrated my wand.
Not sure what that means when a deity just randomly strongly pops into your head like that.
If it isn't obvious enough, I'm always doubting my intuition sometimes, or I'm always trying to find a meaning to everything. Hahaha....

Oh my god. Fall Out Boy is literally... just.. There are so many good memories intertwined with their songs and lyrics. When I hear certain ones, it reminds me of certain points in my life. I know how it is to be around close-minded people. I can honestly say it's probably one of the worst things to have to deal with. I'm the same, though, with the emotion. I don't avidly worship any deity. I want to, but I have no idea how to go about it. Plenty of research I guess, and opening your heart and mind up. I'll have to work on it. I've always had a close feeling with the Cailleach, but I also recently noticed that I've always been drawn to bears, and a friend pointed out Artio to me. I found it quite funny because I had a Celtic knot pendant that was in the shape of a Bear... Welcome to the group, Blue. I hope that you make some good friends! You seem very interesting. ^^

Monika (taurean-witch) and ravenwhitewitch , thanks for the welcomes! But, haha, yes, Fall Out Boy has a special place in my family; I got my younger siblings addicted to them. And yeah it is the worst. Especially, since I try to keep my practice to a minimum right now, purely out of respect to my mom. It IS her household, so I'm trying to respect her, y'know? Thus, I can't wait until I get my own place. A place with a nice big backyard, or an apartment at least close to a park. The only deity I have a close feeling is Brighid. As I've said, I've never really worked with deities as of yet, but I do make little Brighid's Crosses just out of respect to my matron. But, yes. Celtic deities just seem to hold a strong place in my heart for some reason. Either way, thanks for the welcomes, I've been enjoying my time here so far.

Until you get your own place you can always practice your craft some place outside if any place is close like a forest preserve for example. You can also download apps on your phone like a candle burning and im sure they have one for incense and other things.
