I usually practice at night in my room, when everyone is asleep, not to mention, that's the time I'm most awake. The most I'll do is protection spells, sigils, and pretty much anything that's for closet witches. As for outside, I try to make sure I at least clean up our backyard every day. It's been taken over by weeds. It's slowly making progress, but I do enjoy sitting out there at night when the moon's out.
Though, I at least can plant herbs, flowers, and such without a worry. My mom is actually pretty happy about my interest in gardening.
As for the phone, I don't have a phone, actually, but I do light a candle when I at least pray in the morning and then my pre-bedtime prayer.
The good thing (trailing off now), I find living with others, interesting. I often try to teach my siblings to appreciate Nature, to treat life with care, and although, I don't know if it'll stick with them, it's nice to know I'm teaching them valuable things about respecting the world we live on, even if I have to hide aspects about myself.

Monika (taurean-witch) and ravenwhitewitch , thanks for the welcomes! But, haha, yes, Fall Out Boy has a special place in my family; I got my younger siblings addicted to them. And yeah it is the worst. Especially, since I try to keep my practice to a minimum right now, purely out of respect to my mom. It IS her household, so I'm trying to respect her, y'know? Thus, I can't wait until I get my own place. A place with a nice big backyard, or an apartment at least close to a park. The only deity I have a close feeling is Brighid. As I've said, I've never really worked with deities as of yet, but I do make little Brighid's Crosses just out of respect to my matron. But, yes. Celtic deities just seem to hold a strong place in my heart for some reason. Either way, thanks for the welcomes, I've been enjoying my time here so far. You're welcome. ^^ I'm the same. I haven't worked with deities much, but I really would like to start attempting to.

I sometimes find it challenging to do ritual, as my house is always buzzing with activity. My family knows I'm pagan and is supportive, but with my Wife and one daughter identifying as Christian, doing full ritual at home tends to make them uncomfortable. Night time is an option, but my kids are up at all hours so if I do anything then I do it outside. Otherwise, I do my rituals in the morning, as I am the last to leave the house. Some of the spell work I do can be done with anyone in the room - knot magick being one of them. I'll do spells while my Wife or kids are sitting here watching TV and they're totally unaware. You don't have to say anything aloud in magic anyway - as long as your intent is clear it will work the same as if you recite elaborate incantations. Nice to meet you!

It'll probably be better anyway, my mind is always going a mile a minute, and I find it much easier to think rather than speak. I guess this is a problem of ADHD, hahaha.

I have the same problem (racing thoughts) and sometimes have to mouth the words silently to keep my focus on the task.
I've visualized whole rituals, sitting in front of everyone with my eyes closed. They just thought I was going to sleep. That works too.
